RGP Lenses Are an Effective Problem-Solver
LASIK and other refractive surgery procedures are typically safe and effective. But in some cases, undesired outcomes will occur—such as loss of best spectacle-corrected visual acuity, glare, haloes, ghost images, and reduced contrast sensitivity. Additional surgery may not be possible or may not be able to correct these problems. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of rigid gas-permeable (RGP) contact lenses in managing
undesired visual outcomes from refractive surgery.
